UEFA Cup Football Action - come on the blues!

I have been an Everton fan since 1984 and a Zenit fan since 1996, so tonight is a BIG footie night. It would be great if both teams got to the final stages after having been in the same group. If we both get to the final, then I will buy a bottle of champagne for the group member that predicts the winning team and nearest the time of the first goal!

It is wierd how people support football teams for the duration of their lives, but I have been through some hard times following Everton so far, that is for sure.... Perennial relegation battles in the 90s.... a long way from the European triumph in the 80s. We may be experiencing those glory days some day soon....

As for Zenit, well, Gazprom, great manager, Arshavin (how old IS he???) fantastic supporters behind them. Piter is united - let's hope they get a good result against Marseille - good team.

Good luck boys.

Piter White Knights - off the ground....

Now the Piter White Knights group on linked in has reached 20 members in 2 days - lets aim to have 1000 people by the end of the white nights in the summer! Please do invite all your friends and colleagues. This blog is about sharing your problems - work related or personal with the other members - so the more questions, issues, gripes, blockages, the better. I for my part, will do my best to facilitate the best outcomes for all.

The very important thing to say now is that this is a RUSSIAN LANGUAGE blog. Я говорю на русском без акцента, no mne na mnogo legche pisat na latinskom. Tak sto, esli vy ne protiv, ja napishu latinskimi bukvami kogda ja pishu na russkom, nichevo?

One of our fellow members, Nikolay Kryachkov sent me three DDT songs yesterday.... so although I am sure that you know them all, I thought that I would share.

Spasibo vam Nikolay - klassno. Moody music - can't beat it.
